Jimmy Tingle: Drawing on 30 years of comedic insight, outrage and commentary, nationally known comedian and commentator for "60 Minutes II" (the Andy Rooney slot), Jimmy Tingle has constructed another hilarious, thought-provoking and politically charged one man show based on his satirical 2012 platform for the Presidency

Following his opening remarks, Tingle holds a live press conference/town meeting with a question-and-answer session compelling the candidate to think on his feet as he makes his case to lead the nation. Because he has never held elected office and has virtually no legislative accomplishments Jimmy Tingle is running on his comedic record.

Jimmy Tingle spent two seasons with "60 Minutes II" on CBS as the humorist and commentator in the Andy Rooney spot, and worked as a contributor and satirist for MSNBC. He has appeared, on CNN with Larry King, Joy Behar and Tom Foreman on "The Tonight Show", Comedy Central, "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", as well as his own HBO comedy special.

Recently, Jimmy’s one hour self produced independent documentary film" Jimmy Tingle’s American Dream” has been making the rounds and winning awards at various film festivals. The film features some commentary and conversation with some of America’s most iconic personalities and social critics, as well as family, friends and total strangers as they speak up and speak out on the American Dream. As he weaves his stand up comedy career into the fabric of the American Dream, you’ll meet Oscar winners and comedians, historians and the homeless as he aspires to make us laugh, to make us think, and encourages us to dream. Featuring the interviews and opinions of Howard Zinn, Robert Altman, Mort Shall, Janeane Garafalo, Sean Hannity, Lewis Black, Margery Eagan, Jim Braude, Bobcat Goldthwaite, Al Franken, Robert Reich, Colin Quinn, Barry Crimmins, Jimmy’s mother Frances and more. Music with Willie Nelson, The Mighty, Mighty Bosstones, The Neighborhoods, and Jimmy Tingle on harmonica. A by comedian Jimmy Tingle and filmmaker, director Vincent Straggas of Flag Day Productions.
